Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Learning for you that will benefit students Fleecy :) I guess tutors are having to make huge adjustments to their teaching. There's a big difference between the early stages of lockdown when it was a 'survive to the end of the year' approach, whereas now the reality of a longer term situation means a planned approach to online teaching.

I am on a roll at the moment. My friend messaged this morning asking if I could buddy someone she knows at the climbing wall tomorrow night. I had been intending having a night off - I've swum Tues, climbed Wed and plan to bike tonight - but it's a chance to make another connection. I'll be exhausted by Sat :)

Yay! Targets met and exceeded early bell

I haven't done my fast(er) running this week yet. Had it pencilled in for yesterday but my fast twitch muscle wouldn't get out of bed and I did a long run instead, which is also a Session Of Substance. It's back on the plan for tomorrow.

Weekend weigh in *does happy dance* 84.9Kg

Follow up action to success sit on arse do bollox all exercise and eat way too much
today 86.4kg

Now I know I can't have gained that much weight in a couple of days but really why do I do this? Why when success is there at my finger tips do I throw it away? So angry with myself

It's a recovery and refuelling day, Pix. Triathletes need one occasionally because it's easy to build up a slight chronic rest and nutrition deficit. Get back on it today and stay off the scales till the weekend.

(I suspect being stressed out of your head by your mum and busy at work had something to do with it, so cut yourself lots of slack. But is there something other than overeating you can do to relieve stress? Some easy knitting or something like that?)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
As promised - a carry on doing stuff thread.

Not a typo above. Half term is too early in the month and end of month Halloween is over promoted anyway. Half time can mean whatever you want it too and BE whenever you want it to be.
