I'm hoping for a shorter distance race later in October. My running club did a series one week in August but the heats and finals were ALL at times when I was working so I missed it. Another is being planned. Am I a wage slave or am I a full time athlete with flexible sponsorship obligations, eh? I'll make sure I can take part next time.

I want to start planning things I want to do so that I prioritise them and do them. As it is, life always gets in the way, family and work come first and things like running suffer. Not having a fixed routine makes this more difficult, but I shall try. |

Dio As I don't plan I tend to do the same thing so have no progression - this is an October thing! |

OK I have stopped sulking now (mainly what I did last month - Sulk In September About Your Life Choices.) I’m going to walk some of the South Downs Way with my friend. I’m in a support bubble with her and her husband, AND we live in the same county AND we partly live in the same county as the SDW, so the odds of us actually being able to do it seem in our favour. I’m going to buy a map. |

That's a great idea, Maz (both doing the walk and getting a map.)
