We did a really nasty new clam move in bums and tums today, but that was horrid and hurt a lot so it's not in the spirit of the thread :) She said it would give you an amazing butt though :)

My newt for today was being able to walk along the canal on my way home as it's light enough in the evenings now. I was worried about falling in when I tried walking along it in the dark!

I wonder if Fleecy's new clam move is one I used to teach to my Pilates clients? I did a sequence of three or for clam exercises and the last one involved a sort of driving up and diving down with the top leg.... does that sound familiar Fleecy? It was very effective in targeting lazy muscles.

And it's about time I chose Newt Royalty of the day.

There are lots of things I like but I'm going to choose Alice because volunteering a doggy sleepover is both brave and probably hilarious.

I don't suppose I can claim that taking B. down a few dodgy alleyways with Jess counts. We had a lovely walk and an equally good talk... but these aren't newts.

Two new books (stories!) arrived from Wordery for me today. Presents! Well presents to myself for very nearly finishing my work.

I walked Wanda along some paths I haven't been on before - and it took longer than I thought so we had to fair leg it back to the car!

I am also making a fish pie tonight - I have made fish pie before but this one is slightly different to how I usually make it so I'm counting it as a newt. Hopefully it will be ready by the time I have posted this newt :-)

Lots of work-related newts for me today. Big ones. And hatching ones.

A newt for the year. A run that was toooo hoooottttt to handle. NotSoSmallFry was doing MusicForYouth at the MK City Church this morning, so I ran home. The downhill was nice, but I bonked a bit at the M1 and plodged home from there.
