I forgot that I'd bought a custard tart at the weekend. I have to eat it by today so I'm having it for pudding. A slightly unhealthy newt!

I have done my first evening (outside) run of the year (I have run on the treadmill if I go to the gym of an evening) and it started and finished at a pub that I have never been to before.
And I'll certainly be going back to the pub because we had Wanda with us and when we went in for a swift half after the run the first thing the owners said as I walked through the door with her was 'Oh look at this gorgeous Staffie'

BBL:-) Tonight was the first time we've done this particular club run without headtorches, and the first short sleeve run of the year

Just had some Newt chilli and lemon lentil crisp things. They were excellent. And I'm sure they were incredibly good for me too.

Alice the Camel
Charlie had a couple of friends round for a play date today. I volunteered to have them when their owners go on holiday in June after their regular lodgings let them down. This was the first time we've had 3 dogs at our house. I'm sure the June sleepover will be fine, if I can get Charlie to stop licking the cocker spaniel.

A quiet day on here!
My newt today was planting strawberry plants. They were a gift from a chap at band I've never grown strawberries before. I've planted them in hanging baskets as I've not much ground space (and dog would dig them up). Hope they work.

my newt today was sponsored runs at school - helping to raise the req. amount for a colleague with a vmlm charity place. 2hrs (ended up 1:50) for ks3 in the morning and an hr (50 mins) in the afternoon - ks2. I "ran" with both. knackered.

They should be fine Alice. Water them well when they're flowering and maybe give them some chicken manure pellets or tomato food or something when they flower. Not sure I have a newt for today. I was going to plant some seeds but my kitchen is getting decorated next week and the pots would go on the kitchen windowsill so that might need to wait a bit longer. Tomorrow will be chock FULL of newts though!

My newt for today is walking down some paths in Hastings that I've not been along before (with Sharkie and Jess ) We did some different stuff at KB class too. Walking lunges with a bell overhead and another where we did a goblet squat and then a twohanded press overhead.
