First 'no jacket/fleece' walk today. Ernie swam in Loch an Eilein for the first time. It's been a good day.

Instead of having red/blonde hair I'm going to have red/purple hair. The red shade I used to have has been discontinued. It's cooking right now :)

Ooh, exciting LindsD!

Today I've tried miso soup, and bought new jeans and a pair of sunglasses. I've also got new books from the library and I've listened to new music but these are covered on other threads.

I attempted to read a paper copy of the Daily Express, which I never look at, even online, because it was there in the tearoom when we stopped mid-ride. Is that the worst newt of the week? (I didn't turn more than a few pages, my brain hasn't shrunk that much yet.)

Not quite a newt, but last night I defrosted a sticky toffee pudding that I made and froze more than a year ago, and eL Bee! and I have just eaten a chunk of it. It's not our usual pudding.

You would! ;-)

I have a revolting newt from last night. In all the 25 plus years of the Dalston flat I don't recall spending a single night crouched over the loo (or sitting on it - sorry!) Hideous and completely unexpected d&v. I feel a bit fragile today.

To add to my woes the trains weren't running from Charing Cross or Waterloo East and there was no overground to London Bridge - which was my alternative. Anyway I finally made it back to Hastings - a different route via Croydon East and Redhill.

Fascinating, eh.

Train woes are nothing compared to what Southern passengers go through. South Eastern is usually pretty good.

Oh no! Hope you're ok.

My hair is sort-of white and purple. It reminds me of blackcurrant cheesecake. In a good way :)
