I have two ongoing Newts:
I am now officially a Pickle Queen. More red cabbage pickled - this time with my own adaptions, I can see it becoming a Thing.
My other ongoing Newt - and it quite genuinely is new - is making a point of seeing people I like spending time with, rather than keeping it vague. If this means Fixing Dates, never a strong point of mine, then so be it. So instead of saying 'see you soon' you make a commitment to meeting at least once a month or whatever.
Calling B! Sunday or Tue, Wed, Thu or Fri? (April 1st next Saturday)

Not much of a newt to report yet - the only thing I have done today that would qualify is use a different collar to Wanda's normal one... I will have to try to think of something different before the day is out.....

I had an appraisal meeting in my own workplace for the first time ever today. Previously I've always travelled to my appraiser's surgery, but on this occasion I wanted to have access to the practice computer.
And I had a brief chat with a local colleague I've never had a just-them-and-me chat with before. Not about anything of significance, but it's important that I break the ice with this person so I grabbed the opportunity.

I saw my first bluebells of the year today. They were well sheltered against the side of a cottage, but in full bloom.

Today I delivered training and for the first time I didn't get a hint of 'the fear'. The colleague I was co-delivering with also told me I was a pleasure to work with. I may be glowing a little.

Failed newt here. I modified my tried and tested already modified version of something and it's not as good. 'At least you tried,' is scant consolation.
