Newt experience for me: contacting the on call orthopaedic registrar after receiving an inappropriate request from a district nurse late this afternoon for antibiotics for an infected wound in someone who had had joint replacement surgery.
Newter experience for me: the on call orthopaedic registrar could only have been more helpful if he'd offered to visit the patient himself.

My newt today was attending the first meeting of a local diversity group. It was a really nice positive meeting and we are planning some exciting events

What's a diversity group, Fleecy? I mean is it a Thing? Dalston is about as diverse as they come and Hastings about as UN-diverse so I don't think either places have them. But it's a genuine question.

Another newt for me this evening - a club fartlek session. Never done one before and it was fun, especially as the sprint bit was downhill

I have just washed some voile curtains (I hesitate to say net). This is certainly a new thing for me. In fact I washed them twice but they are still resolutely grey. I don't think they're meant to be grey, I think they were sort of white when I bought them. But that was about ten years ago and I think they've, er, aged.

I love pumpkin ravioli.
My week has been similar to Sharkie's in that the highlight was seeing her. Don't think I had any newts today. Oh wait, I did some super top secret consultancy work talking to an anonymous voice down the phone which was a newt and quite odd.

Could you bleach them Sharkie? We've had a few racist incidents round here, and I think a lot of people feel like they want to make a positive difference and celebrate diversity in our area rather than just hearing depressing stories all the time and feeling like the world is going to shit. So I don't know if it's a Thing elsewhere, but we had a good turnout tonight, and all the local schools are joining in some events too.

Fair dos, Fleecy, ta.
I thought about bleaching them, but it seems a cheat - the grime will still be there! Also they're 100% polyester so not sure if it would work anyway. I've just put one back up (extreme step ladders required!) and it's definitely cleanER. But now I'll have to clean the windows, inside and out (more danger ahoy!)
There's no blinking end to cleaning once you start.
I think I'll go to the Hockney exhibition tomorrow instead.
