I couldn't find anything suitable for my experiment (I have a box to jump onto but think it's too high and probably too hard) So I propped myself up with my hands behind me -extra exercise! - and Raffo judged.

Hello! Bit late in but am hoping to do day 1 later today. Currently in a car travelling up the M1. Would blocks be a good investment for a very inflexible beginner?

Day 2 done at last. All good. Felt strong on the planks and the transitions into and out of downward dog. It’ll be a while before I can properly step through into a lunge, I know from last time that it takes a while to get that level of flexibility. I’ll just have to help the leg in the meantime 😉

I occasionally have to 'adjust' Paula, but sometimes it all works smoothly and I give myself a cheer!!

Late starter here, wasn't sure I was going to join in this year but here I am... Yesterday involved a very long drive so day 1 was ignored in favour of collapsing on the sofa with a pizza and a glass of wine (and very enjoyable it was too).
Day 1 now done - like every year I'm surprised at how hard I find it on my shoulder muscles to stay holding table top position for any length of time!
Hoping to get back in sync at some point this week as I'm still on annual leave until next Monday - should mean a double day is possible.

I remember celebrating the first time I stepped through into the lunge without having to help my leg
I think it might even have been during last year's 30 day challenge so a good 18 months after having started pretty much daily yoga.
Occasionally, if I'm feeling especially stiff, then they still need a gentle helping hand but that was one of the moments I realised that the changes in my mobility/flexibility/strength were incremental and that regular practice really works for me.
