I also have all of the Blue Door Theatre books.

But have never read that book @LazyDaisy I should look out for it 😃

I think it’s probably good there was no internet while I was growing up as I would probably have read rather fewer books

I can remember going to Brownies on a Monday night. It was next to the library so I always went in and got myself a new book for the next week. I loved the Milly Molly Mandy series.

Also a Roald Dahl fan. My sister was more Enid Blyton. No idea about the chalet girl ones. Nancy Drew was my equivalent I think.

I was much more capable of reading ‘proper’ books before I became an adult and had to read 50 million textbooks and research papers. Now I mainly read crime fiction books on Kindle Unlimited which are essentially the same plot repeated 50 thousand times.
