Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Very choppy paddle. Would like a nap but need to make it through to bedtime and want to ride my new bike.

Tis the Night Before Starting Secondary School and all through the house are the sounds of procrastination.

um, I think the typhoon kicked it off yesterday. It's closing the show today at 5.30. It's what I really wanted to see but I wasn't going to hang about for it. I also saw the Red Arrows parked up at the airport this morning as well as the chinook helicopter. Actually I think I can hear that flying around now.

I still want a nap but will push on through to bed time. I was going to finally finish the kitchen tiling but discovered my Dad didn’t leave a crucial piece of kit.

Need to recharge our massage gun so I can massage my calf before bedtime.

I was out in the garden this afternoon when a spitfire did a couple of passes over the village :)
We're about 10 miles from where "The Victory Show" is taking place this weekend, and I suspect the reservoir that just behind us makes a useful navigational aid for planes from the event.

That does sound interesting. A few weeks ago a couple of Chinook helicopters passed by this way on their way to training exercises in Snowdonia. It was a very distinctive and quite loud sound as they passed overhead.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
