Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Watching Star Trek Voyager and remembering that my brother used to piss me off when it was first on by humming along to the theme tune in a pretentious way (also it was the ‘90s and pretty much everything he did that decade pissed me off. I was a teenager.)

Back to work tomorrow, 6am alarm turned on. It feels like I’ve been away for weeks, not just one.

Sofa, tea. Knackered. Only about 15,000 steps walked, with lots of sitting down so why do I feel like I’ve run 20 miles?

Totally knackered and only just eaten!!! Mind, that was largely because I had a lovely time with a friend...
But: sooooo much to do, not enough time in the day!
I shall relish November, when I stop gardening at 3 of my 5 clients 😱😱😱 I initially felt a bit anxious when my Friday client said they could not afford to have me come regularly over winter. Hours are always reduced in winter but not structurally and not this much.
I have decided to see it as a blessing: lots more time to get on with my studies and Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb are generally pretty awful! I used to go away in December and have often taken January off... No point getting anxious about bills. Hopefully, the yoga teaching and yoga therapy will take off... Starting with me having to teach my friend's 2 classes this week as she has the flu, poor thing! Yoga and yoga therapy roughly yields as much as 3 hours of gardening, in half the time, inside, warm and dry...

I'd really like to roast a chicken but I don't have enough appetite time to eat the whole thing myself. Having a vegan wife isn't a complete bundle of joy.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
