Cucumbers proving difficult. Everything else is good apart from my rows of carrots. We keep getting near frosts. The carrots and Parsnips in big, deep pots are looking very good indeed.

Among the flowers 2 Agapanthus have not come back, very odd that, plus 2 Verbena.

My agapanthas haven't come back either, one is in a pot and I have always successfully wintered it in the shed :-(

As much as I like forget-me-not how on earth have they invaded my garden, they are everywhere!

Yes. My Agapathus are all in big pots, split them 2 years ago, no problem. It could be stress, very hot summer, very cold pre Christmas, warmed up, then froze again in March, but why are 2 OK, and 2 failing. Very odd.

My outside potted Agapanthus looks to have died, no shoots whatsoever.
The Agapanthus in the ground had similarly looked dead, but has sent up growth, although it is quite weak o I don't expect them to flower this year.

My potted Agapanthus in the greenhouse survived and is growing quite well, although it did lose few leaves in December's prolonged harsh frost.

I had about 15 agapanthus seedlings in pots - all died, not unexpectedly.

Our local nursery lost their entire stock of agapanthus to frost. They now have a replacement batch, but the price is a premium. It’s not been a good year for agapanthus so far.

It has not been great for anything semi-hardy. I lost all my lemon verbenas and many other things.

My agapanthus is super hardy. They’ve all survived outside. Mind you, we’ve lost plenty of other things!!

Lost all my Agapanthus years ago to frost. Buddleia has been close to murdered this year.

Front garden at its unruly best in May (with deadish buddleia):
