I wouldn’t be surprised if my crops have withered up and died in the 5 days we have been away. We we’re struggling to keep the sandy soil wet whilst we were at home, with daily watering, but the extreme heat and not a drop of rain will have left the veg bed bone dry. My dad would normally go and water up for us but Mr GM went to get our spare house key a couple of weeks ago and didn’t get round to giving it back to him 😤😤😤

Hot and try here too.
Mrs Roe deer has expanded her menu beyond the Geranium x magnificum to now include: sweet peas, Rosa filipes 'kiftsgate', Persicaria, Pelagonium. But only the buds and flowers.

My wife has alreay suggested that, and it does sound tasty, but I suspect Mrs Roe has young somewhere close by, so maybe not fair.

Leave them? Unless they're the bitey red ones.
I've got an ants nest under my lawn and they're fine. They just seem to have set up a food trail across my washing patio.
