larkim Nov 2017 4:07pm, 16 Nov 2017 3,321 posts	0 larkim I've tweeted it to Athletics Weekly as I know plenty of clubs do their draws around now, and if they are only going to get 4 instead of 5 for example it would be courteous for VLM to let clubs know there is a risk they might not get as many places as they were led to believe. It could be entirely innocent - "reviewing" might mean "checking" just to make sure they've got it all right (e.g. included all clubs, got latest membership data etc etc). Or it might not...

If ea membership is also up, that could mean they risk letting too many people in to the marathon, hence club membership places are 'under review'. We might find out they need over 150 members to get a second place.

For our club (very small senior club membership, lots of juniors) this would mean we wouldn't get allocated a place which would mightily pee-off the guy who was selected this year I think!!
