Apparently Clarence parkrun started yesterday near Bury. Did a great job keeping it quiet as I live not far from there and had no idea!

Ooh, that's next to my first primary school and not too far from my first house as a baby. Will have to plan to get over there!

Well, at the start of the run he had completed them all, as the new one hadn't happened yet.

(Of course, if they meant Yorkshire proper, he's still in good standing.)

Not at the start of the run, given that was the event that would have given him regionnaire status as soon as he had finished IF Baysgarth didn't start yesterday.

I guess it was done in a fairly jocular way - and I assume that if you're the kind of person who enjoys spending your Saturday mornings driving round ticking off all the parkruns in a big area, you might be pleased to have a new one to do the following week.

I haven't checked for a while, so delighted to see i now have a new Nendy, Five Arches in Radstock, Somerset.

Had three events already, will definitely be checking that out soon.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
