Yeah, all pretty well. Parking can still be a bit tight and hassle with app/phone only, no cash. A request was put out on social media to be respectful when parking on local streets - there isn't much space outside the park either, other than new housing.

So, ED decided the mud was too much and so cancelled...so popped just down the road to...an inaugural...ran and then volunteered. 200 there, which was a nice number. All went pretty well.

Ah nice, I'll keep an eye out for the other new one too then! We went to Alvaston today, as it's a fast course. I got my fastest parkrun time this year (by 1 second!) And girlfriend Sal did her 2nd fastest parkrun ever, just a few seconds away from her 7 year old PB! |

Were you at our local inaugural parkrun today sLickster? Being very well advertised locally on Facebook, but not sure of protocol for mentioning here? Anyway, seems to have gone well and should have a good takeup as very central (plenty of parking too!) 🏃♂️🏃♀️
