Ooh, there's some Scottish temptation waggled in front of me :-). I've actually set foot on both courses over the last month or so, I wonder if that qualifies me to attend ;-)?
The simultaneous start date might have a few folks blowing a fuse.

Two loops of promenade and grass. Roughly a mile of it’s on the grass section.

Edison, I was at that one. My first inaugural 😀
Very well run by the core team, a good number of runners. It's a nice course.
One guy ran it in a unicorn hat - I did wonder if you had updated from Bagpuss.

I've been thinking about the Scottish inaugurals next week and I think I will leave them until later. As the closest to Lanark, Strathclyde, is cancelled (International Games Triathlon), I foresee a stampede down the M74. That will give them more than enough to be going on with. And at Loch Leven, it is placed to attract the Perthies as well as the Fifers. The paths are not that wide (though with plentiful grass to the sides in the first part); so again, busy busy. I can see both getting well over 200 even without an influx from further away.

Good team at Orangefield, assisted by some of our guys on Saturday. I hope to run it in a few weeks, when they move the finish line back to where it should be...
