Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Jon was at L100 at the weekend, his wife doing the 50, I think. He passed me looking cool as beans walking up from Troutbeck while I was descending (dying inside, praying for a stream to sit in :)) Top fella.

I loved HM55 and HM60, must give the 30 a go next year.

The H30 is a good way to start the year. We did the Hebden LDWA a few times when it was first Saturday of the year but H30 is a great replacement. In 2012 it was the brightest day of a damp, grey holiday period. Route is torture for me; way too runnable. Missus loves it heart

Well that was a nice relaxed day in the hills for me. Hated the first 8 miles as was far to hot. Took my top off and stopped at every stream to cool down. Dogtanian and his Spartan buddies watered me down in the Spartan camp and they had some really nice soup. 10:08 finish happy with that. Was faster in the second half once it cooled a bit.

was wearing f-lites and some cheap lidl socks no blisters no sore feet. No DOMS.

The only disappointment for me was there was far to many biscuits and nit enough nice stuff like the fruit and soup they had a little bit off.

There really were a crazy amount of biscuits. I never knew runners loved them so much.

Congratulations, Mike - sounds like (too many biscuits notwithstanding) a good run out for you.

With my lovely wife planning another go at the 50, I might plot a cunning cycling route that may or may not visit all the checkpoints so that I can do some mobile support :)

Hey eL Bee!,

I've found a handy route that visits all the CPs on the L50: bing.com

It will!
Nice route for another time though!
I'm looking at a road route - it'll tangle less with the competitors :)
