Sabrina Verjees split from Ambleside to the finish was just over 3:05. She did 8:43, not sure if position. Interestingly a quick look at the leader's splits for that section would suggest Katie Kaars Sijpesteijn (it was so much easier when her surname was Boden!) was the quickest with a fantastic split of 2.35. That is seriously impressive.

Snoot Jul 2022 3:43am, 31 Jul 2022 5,202 posts	0 Snoot That was a toughie. Rain, fog and mist made it really wet and struggled with mist and head torch visibility. Despite that I enjoyed it and am chuffed with my finish time for my first 50mi 🤗
