True or quite a few road marathons. I may just do a GB Ultras event for my qualifier as I think I have a place in one of them and take a look at one of the events in the Lakes mentioned aswell as the recces and just getting myself up there.

We are injured and slow. Touch and go if we start.

Going really well until April, then a combination of calf strains and Covid put the mockers on it. Coming together a bit again now, but sub-30 plan now unlikely!!

Going Ok, couple of hiccups but nothing too major - then a serious loss of motivation in June. Going for two decent weeks, but even short er on elevation than I was last year, in fact itβs been pretty much flat only for months. I hope my legs remember how to hike uphill

We had a decent hike (all walking) last Thursday afternoon / Friday (Keswick - Walla Crag - Watendlath - Rosthwaite - Styhead - Wasdale - Honister - Borrowdale) carrying tent and stuff. Some good climbs, but still felt slow.
Physio is fairly confident about fixing my calf tear.

First time at the 50 for me, training going well but had a bit of a meh day yesterday and stopped way short of what I'd planned.
Looking forward to it though
