I'd say the Kelpie puppy (nearly 1, not sure when they grow up🤷) is more enthusiastic than the 2.4 kids😀 Not on route granted but a very pleasant walk up Whitbarrow Scar to Lords Seat today. Cracking the flags!

I've done Grand Tour of Skiddaw, Ambleside 60k, Lakeland Trails 55k (and some of their shorter races) so just looking for some more options.

jacdaw Jan 2022 4:05pm, 11 Jan 2022 3,538 posts	0 jacdaw The Ascend Lakeland 5 passes is good and hard, especially in the weather conditions on the day I did it. The Keswick mountain festival 50k is a decent run without much overlap of the lakeland 100 route, but in roughly the same place as the Buttermere to Keswick bit. I did the lakeland trails 110k (100k these days) a couple of times when building up to the lakeland 100, but never in the same year. But if you've done the 55k, you know about that one.
