Neglected the gym work recently when my back was a bit ouchy & I had a touch of tennis elbow, but it's time to get back on to it.

Question: I did some deadlifts - barbell, just 35kg, three sets of 10 - and I have DOMS in my hamstrings but not in my glutes. Do I need to adjust my technique? I know it's a compound move but I don't know if I'm doing something which emphasises hamstrings over glutes.
