Duracell
Finally made it to the gym today!

Been off work for 3 weeks, but only felt up to it this afternoon.

New venue for me and very different. I am used to HUGE beardy guys with tattoos and potty mouths. Today was full of very thin (scrawny) 90 somethings. I felt like a big heffalump πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Took it steady - back squats, front squats, close grip bench, biceps, seated row and triceps to finish.

Back there with a friend tomorrow so can't back out of it.

Two sessions on consecutive days after nothing for ages? Hardcore, Duracell! But glad you're back on it.

Anaemic session for me tonight. Genuinely anaemic, because I gave blood two days ago.

Got really annoyed last week when my bootcamp got cancelled just over an hour before it was due to start with no explanation. With the Christmas I'm struggling to fit in my PT sessions on a weekend where I use the weights so feeling a bit crap. Have considered starting doing crossfit but seeing how I'm struggling to get the fight form for the deadlifts etc with PT worried about hurting myself. If I were to start crossfit I would probably drop the bootcamp sessions. Crossfit looks scary but bootcamp is safe I feel like I need to challenge myself though.

Looks like some great work going on in here atm πŸ˜€πŸ’ͺ

Trying to lift 3 times a week but only managing twice recently with extra traveling to fit in. I’m married to a trainer (known to Duracell! Great to hear you’re still lifting) so no real excuses! I’ve refocused workouts on whole body sessions to make best use of the time - deadlifts, bench press and rows on Tuesday and squats, banded pull ups and military press planned for today. It’s good to be with other ladies who lift 😊

Nutso Lazytoad!
PT yesterday I have the DOMS of death today, I think the 20kd deads in 20kg front squats in to floor to ceiling burpees did it! I feel awesome though as only the 3rd round of front squats were very hard.

Woo! Second lifting session this week and oh boy did I work hard today!

Focus on volume for deadlifts so:
15x3 @30kg
10x3 @ 40kg
8 X 3 @ 45kg

Then core work of: Russian twists with an 8kg Kettlebell 10x each side straight in to 10 X dead bugs with a 6kg ball straight in to 1 minute plan. Did that 3 times off a 1 minute rest

Prick me I'm done!
