Gym session at home for me today...

with my new weights!

They arrived yesterday and the package weighted over 75 kilos, so half a workout for me unpacking and getting all the bits up three flights of stairs.

Yikes! I did two sets of Bulgarian split squats this evening. First set with 5kgs second with 4kgs because my legs were on fire! I 'did' dip my free knee right down for every single one of the 32 reps. Right leg a lot more wobbly.

GAWD but I'd forgotten how evil they are!
I won't be surprised if I do have DOMS tomorrow although I feel fine now.

Chest day with PT today. Chuffed to bench press 25kg for 3 x 4 reps then fly with 25kg 8 X 3 finally the dreaded plate hold.... I have progressed to a 5kg plate for 3 X 8 reps. Such a small move but such a big ask!!!!!! Finally feeling the right muscles engaging which totally helps!!!!!

So, I haven't had the DOMS yet since my first session. *crosses fingers* Today he tried me on the deadlift, just with the bar, 3 x 10 which I managed quite easily. I'm sure I didn't get my bum down enough but he wasn't pushing it like the other bloke did, although he was pretty impressed at my technique from the off. He also made me do the squat/push thing I did at the beginning which knackered my quads from the off. Instead of using the Vibr this time I was given an 8kg kettlebell.
