Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

@PaulaMc I have often wished I had a dummy and it's still an ambition to get one. I hadn't even thought of eBay! I've never used one but I imagine it would be SO much easier to do some proper fitting if I had one. So I'd say if it's not pricey and you have the room then go for it.

They seem to be about £150 new and anything from £30 on eBay. I think I will get one 😊

My friend made a form of/for herself with duck tape (and lots of help)...

Started a granny square cover for a table (not a cloth!)

Taken me several attempts to get going as I had forgotten what to do and never did much crochet!
But I’m going to do this to use up some DK yarn. I think I’ll try to get better at crochet too now I have the time

I have loads of sock wool, mainly single balls, apart from socks and scarves what else is something to make?

My pro tip, if you do decide to make it, is to make sure you're crocheting over the ends as you go, to save yourself from having to darn them all in at the end.
