I've just seen a reference to the BIBA exhibition at the Textile Museum. I won't be able to get there but others might be interested. If you are similar age to me then you might also have some memories :-)

The regular "Behind the Seams" tour starts with champagne, lasts about 2 hours and includes lots of crystals and swishy dresses.
