After laying out the front of my cardi to sew together I realise I want bigger squares so I’m now adding a 7th round on them all.

I also think because I want to ensure the arms are loose I will do 3 squares around on the arms not 2 (1 front 1 back) but I can’t fathom if it will work ????? Advice please ?

Yes it will work, you mean 3 squares for the arms and then another 4 for the back, it will all ‘match’ or fit!

jelly the pattern I’m following just has a front and a back so it would be one square on front of the arm and one square on the back so I thought to make it more generous I’d add a 3rd square so each of my arms would have 3 squares wrapped around them. (I’m not wording this very well ?!)

I like the hexagan cardi runner bean o want to try one next !!

runningmumof3boys That would work. What you may need to do is put the third square on the top, then maybe add another square over the shoulder. So you extend the front and back by half a square. That way your edges will line up. So you’d actually need five more squares for each side

I've knitted a bucket hat as suggested by my offspring. Knitted bucket hats are going to be all the rage at Eurovision.....

OMG I’ve just googled knitted bucket hats. Prada have one for £680 and Mia Mia have one crocheted from cotton scraps for £950.
