Now I’m knitting 2 socks together with this lovely sparkly yarn from West Yorkshire spinners!

The pattern cast on was making me very cross, there were far too many brackets in the instructions. Thank goodness for ravelry, I asked for help in a dick knitting forum and they sorted it all out!

I just knit them one at a time...I'd go nuts trying to do two simultaneously!

Just my usual vanilla sock - I don’t bother with anything else for self striping yarns

It’s really very simple, you can’t really go wrong knitting 2 at a time and I wanted to make sure they matched!

I shall be taking sock knitting on holiday, since Tink asked for socks, I noticed that VP is wearing his handknitted socks, and they both have birthdays next month. I have a hat to finish first, though.

Finished off my new jumper today - plain, bog standard, top down raglan. Lousy photo as the light’s awful - it’s a teal-y, petrol-y blue
