Sounds fab Meglet. I’ve spent the morning listening to Esme Young. I had a little fangirl swoon

How long should a poncho be?
No arm holes
The pattern I'm using just uses 5 skeins
It's great mindless knitting so happily knitting away using yarn from my stash I was gifted and had no idea what to use it for almost tempted to just use it all up!

As long as you want, Pix :)

I'm currently doing a poncho-like jumper in cotton/acrylic which will be cropped length because long jumpers make me look like I'm wearing a blanket.

This will look like a blanket!
It’s an oatmeal colour with the odd fleck in it so will probably look like those fishermen jumpers in colour

So much loveliness at the craft show. I didn’t buy anything though, despite being attracted to many gorgeous looking skeins and sparkly things.

My daughter, however, bought a penguin needle felting kit and some giant braided cotton yarn to make baskets with. She’s also got her eye on a gorgeous cross-stitch mermaid, but both stalls that had it had sold out of her favourite one
