Yes!
I hadn't knitted for ages so it was like beginning again!

Started a hat
Frogged it
Started again

Had to look up how to crochet a chain as I’d forgotten! Then look up how to do a provisional cast on as brain went blank!

EP I always have to check and double check instructions and how to do stuff and I consider myself to be a pretty good knitter, I’ve tackled all kinds of knitting and been doing it over 30 years. I’m also not very good at counting 😂

There are several things I have to look up each time even though I've done them loads of times. And other things I just throw myself at without bothering to check if what I think is right is actually right.

I’ve just had to look up how to do a particular join for crochet squares, even though I’ve done it literally hundreds of times. Just not recently.

I had to be reminded of how to cast on when I was 18...I hadn't knitted in ages and wanted to start my first Icelandic sweater in first year uni. Something to do in my 'spare' time when not doing terrible things to pianos. My friend was worried that she might need to teach me how to knit again...that wasn't necessary! ;)
