Not so different to my experience working in a sock factory more than 25 years ago! My first job was as a draw threader, the socks came out of the knitting machine all joined at the toe/top, you pulled it into your arm, cut it at 2 points, pull out the draw thread and they would magically separate! I used to love it!

sallykate Jan 2021 2:36pm, 14 Jan 2021 7,395 posts	0 sallykate My local fabric shop is doing mail order, so if I want something basic or more of something I bought from them previously I send them a WhatsApp. They saved me earlier this week by dropping some white poplin off to me; online shops can take a week to deliver.
