That’s the equivalent of driving a car on fumes and hoping to get to the petrol station before you run out, V’rap!

And did you knit faster to get to the end before the yarn ran out, V'rap?

Some lovely work, people, well done!

I didn't even notice the jog until you mentioned it and I looked for it.

Just been catching up with the Inside the Factory Socks programme! Not so different to my experience working in a sock factory more than 25 years ago!

My first job was as a draw threader, the socks came out of the knitting machine all joined at the toe/top, you pulled it into your arm, cut it at 2 points, pull out the draw thread and they would magically separate! I used to love it!

Just put in an order request to my local shop but she didn’t have what I wanted so have had to order from Wool Warehouse. Such a shame, I’d love to support local. She did suggest another two LYS but neither of those had what I wanted either.

My local fabric shop is doing mail order, so if I want something basic or more of something I bought from them previously I send them a WhatsApp. They saved me earlier this week by dropping some white poplin off to me; online shops can take a week to deliver.

WW say 5-7 days delay on deliveries right now. Thankfully I don’t need it right away, it’s for my next project after I finish my CAL.

My only good local knitting shop closed down in August! Trouble is I’ve got such a ginormous stash I don’t spend enough on yarn to keep anyone in business!
