In the past, I'd never used any special feet. A friend taught me how to use the foot for zippers and it can make my life easier. Having learned on my mother's elderly machine, it didn't come with many bells and whistles and I just learned how to manage things! :)

A zipper foot is a must. I also have a fancy button foot that takes the button and makes the hole the right size! I had to look up how to use it.

There’s also a foot for oversewing an edge, a bit like overlocking.

I kept all the feet from my old machine (it seized when I dropped it and couldn’t be fixed!). Which might be where some of the extras come from. The most useful is a thing for turning and sewing narrow hems on fine fabric. Some others I have no clue!

I did see on a Facebook ad something that forms and sews bias binding as you go, it looked amazing!

I picked my needles up last night, managed to knit about 6 rows without my joints hurting - but I don't seem to have the ability to concentrate right now.

I found a WIP - a Cancun boxy top that HB knitted for Tiger feet.
I made daughter one and then started one for me - how many years ago? 4 or 5 maybe.
I will try to finish mine, it just might take a while
