I shall take the days off work and volunteer my services in whatever capacity they are needed. It could be quite a fun way of doing the Big Society thing ;)

Spinkle, I love the idea of the FE mug-hug. Could be the start of a whole new world of merchandising :)

Will have a fiddle about and see what I can come up with. Nice easy pattern so anyone can have a go.

*puts thinking cap on*

Maybe Lord Fetch could do FE mugs too?.....

right, my wool is not going to make the bear.

is it possible to buy a ball off someone on ravelry. there are quite a few stashed but i'm struggling to find an online shop that has it in stock. although that's not helped by my laptop refusing to do searches and i can't get on the other pooter!

What is it you need, RD? If it's something I have stashed, you can have it.

woudln't that be lovely if you did :) it's rowan purelife organic wool dk in indigo (00609) i only need another ball, although i'd happily buy more if someone wants to get rid of it. it's lovely to knit with and a lovely colour - although i wouldn't describe it as indigo myself!

And I'm sure tea-cosies were easier when teapots weren't globe-shaped!

oh that's a shame - although it would have been a pretty amazing bit of serendipity :)

what shape did they used to be? or do you actually mean it's a globe teapot you are trying to clad?
