D'you have a pattern for it, Pix? I've tried to invite you to the Black Sheep Wools FB group where there's a chevron blanket knitalong, a link to a free pattern, and loads of photos of projects.

The only problem I find with KALs is that I see the colours and patterns other people have used and get FOMO. But for this one I promised myself I'd only use yarn I already had and plan the sequence to accommodate the amount of each colour available.

That's how I've ended up with so much yarn that it's almost not funny. I think of things I'd like to make and buy the yarn and the pattern, but my eyes are faster than my fingers and most of what I make is improvised. I did some test knitting for a lovely designer to try to teach myself to stick closely to a pattern instead of going off-piste, which was great fun but I ended up with a bunch of snoods that are no use to me or anyone I know.

(I should put my FO collection up for grabs on Fetch. It's not all in harlequin colours.)

all my socks are basic winwick mum

I did 1 pattern as a tester and finished them but took too much thinking
I made one top which is nice but only worn a couple of times
my cardy I made (1st garment) was meant to have been frogged as it was not my style once done still hides in the bottom of the wardrobe
I have done a few blankets though and scarfs which I have gifted and a couple of hats
