Oh! I'd forgotten the throw down - is that chap who cries still judging?

ION, my cross stitch arrived yesterday, I was tempted to phone in sick to make the most of the daylight. It seems my eyes are exactly as bad as I thought they were. I may have to invest in one of those hats with attached magnifying glasses!!

I watched the lottery programme for the first time last night. What’s with the crying while judging? I don’t have a problem with men showing their emotions, but over pottery?

Taped last night's show so I haven't seen it yet, but I'm glad the crying judge still cries. I think it's nice that beautiful pottery can move people :-)

As a potter, I totally agree that pottery can be beautiful and moving, but he cried at the weirdest pieces! Just goes to show that it's totally in the eye of the beholder!

He always cries. But more than usual yesterday! I've definitely been moved to tears by art on many occasions, but not yet pottery.

I might cry if the house gets full of nondescript brown vessels 😉

I'd love to try pottery sometime...I've never had the chance or know where to go to try it. I'll have to look it up when I do have time - roll on retirement!!
