Yay, I'll be able to watch it! for some reason none of the TV providers here carry C4, but they all have BBC 1 and 2 (and some have 4! though we have to pay extra for it).

And they still have Patrick, so that's the main thing. In a single episode last series they had corsets, and Patrick in a kilt (sadly, not in a corset though). I had to fan myself with my knitting pattern.

Icemaiden the really good LYS closed at the back end of last year. There's a John Lewis, of course, and there's also Sew Creative on King Street https://sewcreative.co.uk/cambridgeshop.php. If you are driving, there is also Backstitch at Burwash Manor (Barton) http://www.backstitch.co.uk/knitting-yarn. I've never been there.

I was on the bus so did not make the yarn shop. But I did visit the samplers in the Fitzwilliam museum. OMG such teeny tiny stitches by such young girls.

The samplers are amazing aren't they? If I hadn't been stuck here all day waiting for a delivery ( which still hasn't come), I'd have popped down and said hello
