Decided to try and find my mojo by casting on a hitofude...then in middle of the night when sleep wasn't happening I thought it'd be a really good idea to knit it to wear to a wedding in two weeks time....

I found some yarn that gave me correct gauge in my stash so I'm going for it! 11 repeats into the first section at the moment, and enjoying it so far

I am going on holiday to Germany in the summer.

If I take sock knitting should I use two short dpns or one long one magic loop style (I haven't tried this yet).

What should I bring home from the wool shops?

v-rap did you find that pattern? being tempted by some hand dyed yarn and wondering if the cost of the yarn would be too much!

In other news I found myself looking at sewing machines this morning. This scares me a lot as I haven't seen one for 30+ years. I blame you lot for showing off amazing things

If you can make a little detour to Pfaffenhofen, there's the Wollmeise shop ;)

We are on the trains so extra excursions are unlikely. I'll have to get whatever the town shops stock.
