Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

v-rap you have some robin paintbox yarn (from looking at your projects you used in it the "brick" cushion cover you recently did)
I got some to crochet with but it's too busy ... any ideas as to what I should/could use it for?

currently using some lovely hand dyed purple yarn with sparkles on a hitch hiker - made a couple of mistakes 1 through tiredness 1 due to annoying husband! Had to frog 3 rows this morning - as I'm on tooth 18 this was several stitches!

I must take a photo of the things my mother made with the Robin Paintbox yarn, Pix. Even she couldn't do a thing with the Duplo-coloured stuff, but she managed to turn the pink and lilac stuff into a cardigan.

I started making a baby cardi with Robin baby 4-ply. It was like knitting with ragged old plastic carrier bags. I have most of 200g of the stuff in white if anyone wants it, otherwise it's going to the charity shop and I am going to knit with woolly wool instead.

Those brightly coloured skeins look lovely but don't always look the same once knitted up! I like some of the patterns pairing them with a dark main colour, using the bright as accents/flashes.

Here's my Magrathea, finally written up
ravel.me

I've also bought some blocking mats today. (Bit late for the Magrathea!) If anybody is in need Morrisons have interlocking foam mats intended for hopscotch for £4 a set!

That looks fab Meglet and a lovely colour. I love Martinas patterns, they are so easy to follow and suit all sorts of yarns.

I have been busy with stuff, but have busted some stash using up three lots of leftover wool for socks.

They are much more orange than the pic suggests.

Happy go lucky boot socks ravelry.com - I have the book and am working through it. Mind you there's lots of other lovely three colour socks on ravelry too.
