I've just finished a band of stranded colourwork uneventfully, but it was a simple 18-stitch repeat. I can see how the music mitts would be far more challenging. I'm now looking at doing an all-over stranded pattern, but mustn't plan anything until I've ploughed through acres of stocking stitch in the round on my current project.

I thought I'd share my latest 2 projects

First one is cut using a scrollsaw, the second is a scrapwood project I'll use in the garden to rest my beer on if we ever have a Summer again :-) The top isn't glued and screwed in place yet but you get the idea

Excellent knitting, people, very inspiring, though not tempted to make socks, I suffer from 2nd sock syndrome, once one's done, that's it, never want to do the other one!

Skilled woodwork, there Bigleggy. I love woody stuff. My first real job was with Wadkin, at the time a world leader in large scale woodworking machinery. Learned all sorts to do with working with wood and other materials, but have absolutely no ability whatsoever in the practical side of it.

Lovely mitts, Gimme, though my heart would sink at the thought of having to keep track of where I was!

Fragile Do Not Bend
Some lovely work going here!

Could someone let me know details of the pattern drop box please? I'm very tempted to make one of those skirts, getting fed up with scarves and suchlike.
