Rory Rhubarb (Rhubs)
Thanks Lills - Number 1 out of the way phewwwww - Photo's being uploaded at the moment with plenty of pictures of my son as his sister was official photographer today. 95 was the final number of finishers - Very very happy with that and how it all went - well done on the PC PB. Welcome to the addiction

Congrats to Rory and ALL the team involved in the Inaugural event today!

Very slick operation, great organisation, lovely course although slightly challenging if used to running on tarmac a lot,

plus a few little "bumps" as someone called them when correcting himself when saying hills ;-)

Weather was hot for 9am!

I will be back after my holidays and have put myself down as a future volunteer.

Hubby had a lovely time sitting and watching too :)

Is this course for off-road or road shoes? And is there bicycle parking/ bag storage?

Hi mr d

Most people seem to wear road shoes but the terrain is a mixture of packed gravel paths, muddier paths and grass so off-road shoes would be fine too. There's plenty of room in the cricket pavilion to leave your bag but no secure storage and most people put their bikes in the pavilion or leave them outside - there's no official bicycle parking but plenty of people do bike over.

Rory-

How's it all going in Ipswich, have you found your core of runners yet? I think ours is only about 20 or so who come back every week. We've been hitting 30-40 for the last few but we're almost hitting 200 people registered.

Cheers Carpathius,

hopefully I will pop over in the next few weeks. Not tomorrow though as it's Saturday morning haircut madness with two young children.

Blimey, back up to over 100 again (103). Lowest turnout so far has been 67 I think.

I am so glad I was there to witness a future Olympian (I think)
Couldn't believe my eyes, seeing a 5 year old and his sprint finish!!
