Good work, Muttley!

Still April-fooling here but a bit short on time and energy so chunked today's up into four short, easy rows.

Sounds like a good days work there, Muttley. Well done.

11km is a lot of strokes, SK. How is the back holding up to all the metres this month?

I've been for a swim this morning and I've got 3 x 6 minutes at r26 (threshold pace) on the docket for this evening. First threshold session of the year and highest intensity rowing since the back issues. I think I might know about this one tomorrow!

It's absolutely fine, Nellers, thanks for asking! Most of the meters are easy so I'm focusing on good form, or trying to.

Well that went as well as could possibly be expected. First threshold session done. Big tick in the relevant box.

Smiling but struggling to do stairs convincingly!

If you’re getting good length on your stroke and applying force through the whole drive how do you hold a 36 for long? 😜

Nellers it isn't long, say sixty seconds. Foolishly on Wednesday I wanted to go sub-22 for 5km and had took it easy, so at one stage looked unachievable. But went ballistic to get 21:59. ;-)

36 spm?? I'm already losing it past 30. Also, paradoxically, I find 18 spm hard to maintain. 20-22 is my comfort zone. I'm a middle of the road kinda guy :-)
