Having put in 2 weeks of reacclimatising I’m wondering which way forward The Pete Plan has previously got good results but feels possibly a bit “intense” at this point. Any suggestions ? |

Not wolverine then.😂😂 I knocked something together myself based off the plans on the British Rowing site but just mixing up the intensities rather than doing periodised blocks. Seems to be working so far for me. |

Well, I did get to 7:06 on Wolverine but it’s so bloody time consuming I’ll have a look on the British Rowing site |

THey have a good set of plans on there but I found the preset ones were heavy ging because a block of 6 weeks of just UT1/2 drove me nuts. Probably good physiologically but psychologically I couldn't hack it so I've mixed it up. So far I'm doing 3 week cycles (light, medium, heavy) with a TR, an AT, a UT1 and a UT2 session each week, picking out something that looks like a sensible progression from what I've done the previous week/ cycle. I've got it on a spreadsheet at home but I'm away for the week. Happy to share once I get home though if that might help? |

After extolling the durability of Concept2 ergs on here last week I got my comeuppance this morning: a fail on the Monitor Pick Up, I think. PM5 powered up OK but rowing didn't produce any change of display. I tried a hard reset (take the batteries out, wait for a bit, put them back in) but no luck. I wonder if I've kinked the cable at some point in the past. Anyway, I ordered a new monitor pickup from the UK shop, it looks pretty simple to fit. Not too bad, this rower has probably seen more than half of my lifetime 14 million metres. |

Just parking this here for anyone who's interested. Might be a good September motivator. Although I confess I've not yet got round to understanding it. For cancer research so a good cause. rowalong.com |

Muttley .. ok I think I understand that after a second read through. I like my challenges a little simpler I think. Like me 😁 |
