The IE problem - failing to recognise the plug-in - now seems to have spread to Chrome too. Firefox is working ok...

Lums, took me ages to find the folder, but I found these 2 links helpful: osxdaily.com forums.garmin.com |

I am having the same problem, with the system not being able to "find" the Garmin. I thought it might be my new laptop, whcih runs the latest version of OSX, but I seem to hav the same problem with the old laptop now, too. think it's something to do with the 310XT and the latest communicator upgrade. can't find the files, though Connect seems to be able to find them provided I manually re-set the watch to "enable pairing" each time.

I have given up trying and have reverted to uploading FIT files - the plug-in seems to be very temperamental - like BB I thought it was the laptop.

I can't do FIT files from my 305, which is a pain. Even today I had trouble getting it to recognise my 110 to find the FIT file, but that's down to the silly connector clip.

What browser are you using Slow Sam ? It's not Internet Explorer 11 is it ? If so, there is a huge problem with IE11 ( big message at the top of the page, but easy to miss it if not looking for it ), use Chrome or Firefox instead. If you are already using Chrome or Firefox, then I don't know ![]() |

Hmmmmm How do I know which Explorer I'm on? How do I change to chrome or firefox? Sorry, I'm not very technically minded... Thank you K5 Gus |
