Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just trying to upload my runs I haven't done many only two and three bike rides. The bike rides have uploaded straight away but the runs seem to be stuck on uploading and nothing happening :-(

I recently got a new Windows 8 computer and having installed the latest version of the Ant Agent Fetch (and Sport Tracks) was unable to find the data. After some investigation, I discovered that these are being saved at

C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Forerunner 410-3855969334\Upload\FitnessHistory

I can import from there but it looks like the automatic importer might need a tweak.

I recently bought a Windows 8 computer and have had no problems using the automatic Garmin importer. But thanks for letting me know where the data is being stored. At least now I know where to clean out the old stuff!

I have decommissioned my 10-year-old PC with Win XP and have been dreading trying to set up my laptop (about 3 years old, Win 7) to get my Garmin talking to Fetch.

Actually, it was a piece of cake. Downloaded ANT agent and got that talking to the watch. Downloaded GCP and got the Fetch training import tool talking to the stored files, having followed the tip on the Import Training page about "compatibility view."

Happy days!

Have not had a problem uploading from Garmin connect until Friday 13th! Runs are sat there on Garmin connect, but when I try to import them to Fetch it doesn't find anything :(

I'm stuck too. Garmin Connect "upgraded" me to Garmin Express. Now the Uploader isn't seeing my run from 8th June, saying the last upload was 1st June...

I've been uploading it as a Fit file for a few weeks now. Garmin connect/express doesn't let Fetch see my runs

About This Thread

Just a little note to say thanks for all the comments here and via feedback. The test phase was useful for knocking off a lot of bugs, but there's nothing like the thrill of putting something live to really get that usability feedback flowing :-)

Here's the TO DO list following feedback from users:

1) Solution for only showing runs since last update - DONE
2) Links on successful import to allow direct route to edit/view - DONE
3) Avoid reloading data on choosing different time view.
4) Stop people pressing the button more than once - DONE
5) Auto detect sport where available.
6) Fix rogue pace zones (reported by Duchess, MacApple et al)
7) Max speed (for Mick173)
8) Smoother import of elevation data.
