I got a new style SbD skort for cheap on FB. It's the swishiest thing ever. I love it :)

I don't find other skorts (I have far too many) obtrusively flappy.

Another one putting her hand up to say my skorts don’t flap around, maybe get a bit warm in the hottest weather but I am a convert.

It's a tiki one. I've tried flanci leggings and don't like the feel of them/material compared to Tikiboo plus the sizing is weird/all over the place so I've stuck with tiki for the skort as they generally fit me well in shorts/leggings.

To be honest, I 'ran' (sort of lol) a mile with my son an hour or so ago on my lunch break and I've just realised that I didn't notice any flapping at all. So I'll give it a go on a run of my own. I mean for £10 I don't need to wear it running, I can just sit and look like a sky leopard in it :) I already have the leggings/bra/shorts of it.

Glad it didn’t feel flappy. As others have said I favour skorts as I don’t feel comfortable in shorts and it’s mostly too hot for leggings. And I wear them to the pub and everything as they are just so cool.

Deffo too hot for leggings, I mean even though there is no summer whatsoever, it's still humid. Even at 6am at the moment I'm most definitely in shorts

I hate running in the loose shorts as I get chub rub on the thighs, so only run in the running shorts, but the loose shorts at bootcamp feel amazing. But I could probably pay off the mortgage with them :-/ I really need to get a grip but they are sooooo pretty. And I don't buy any other clothes now lol

I've just bought a tankini top from Land's End for swimming. I bought one ages ago as all of my swimsuits have become a bit tight *cough* middle-aged spread! *cough* and I got 2 really comfortable high waist swim bottoms from Uniqlo a few years back. So I really did need a second top to go with the other pair - honest...

I should probably try a skort as I'd likely be pleasantly surprised, but I need to keep telling myself I don't like them - I can't possibly accommodate another set of items in my far-too-big kit collection!!

The first skort definitely risks being the entry portal to a wormhole, or something like that.

It’s a slippery slope but I won’t ever go back to anything else other than leggings for cold days - the ones I have get worn as workwear now.

I’ve actually had to move my kit today as it was getting too big for the under bed drawer. I have identified a few items for sale, a BYHP skort, couple of pairs of flanci leggings and a flanci skort oh and some skins leggings & capris. I think I have a skins vest top too.

Having sold a flanci skort this week I can almost justify a new purchase 😆
