It was heartbreaking when my sister and I cleared the house. So many beautiful clothes, shoes, bags, coats, some virtually unworn! As mum was dying in hospital and we were staying in her house, my sister pulled a turquoise biker jacket, soft Italian leather, out of the wardrobe and insisted I'd take it there and then... It had cost €2000 when bought on holiday in Italy and had been worn twice. I wear it all the time! It looks well worn and well loved now but so sad that my mother never allowed herself to enjoy her possessions and life in general. When I buy something, not that often, I wear wear wear it! And take great pleasure in doing so.

I like the look of that Harrier jacket and I'm sure I'd wear it a lot more, mainly for walking. I'd get it in a larger size so I could layer up underneath. Still thinking about it .........
