I have a really expensive jacket (only option in the shop with incoming disgusting weather for an ultra) and I daren't wear it in case I sweat in it too much and I don't know how to keep it in proper condition!! Himself goes nuts that i never wear it seeing as we nearly had to take out a second mortgage to pay for it. Anybody got tips for keeping it as good as new?

Currently debating on an inov8 padded jacket that lots of women had on in Glencoe as a casual winter coat but one I can take on long runs / races as a thermal layer if needed.
