Fragile Do Not Bend
I have GG, I’ve got to wait to see if she will get some the next time she gets a batch in. It’s a very small business and she’s not sure about the demand for larger sizes.

I am seriously tempted by that jacket! I particularly like the fact that they have pleats at the back, so can go over my hydration bladder pack and the bum bag feature. Perfect for walks without a pavk, where you get on and off showers or to a windy summit, where strapping a jacket around your waist by the sleeves doesn't work/flaps... Looks like pre-order though? I have a Turquoise heavy duty climbing waterproof, a dark teal cycling one, so I think I'd go for red... Although I do like stealthy black... Did you get a Black Friday discount geordiegirl? |

There’s no Black Friday discount on the waterproofs but Harrier10 was giving 10% off. It is fab and so well thought out. The red is a lovely shade of red too.

I thought I might be able to use some yarn that Girlie custom dyed for me years ago in Fetch "away" kit colours to make a hat and handwear to co-ordinate with the snowflake leggings, but the leggings are black with pale gold and caramel and would clash something rotten with the bright yellow in the yarn. This is not a yarn acquiring opportunity. I have all the colours individually. |

Thanks GG! I am very strained financially, so just treating myself to the winter leggings at 30% off, then, when I get my 25% tax free pension hopefully end of January, I can buy the jacket. I would get a lot of use out of that I reckon, also on the bike... |

The Harrier jacket is fab, wore mine for this year’s somewhat damp Lakeland 50 and it performed brilliantly, both under and over my pack. It has ‘pit zips’ to reduce getting wet from the inside. Not that impressed with the roll up into a bum bag option and it doesn’t pack as small as a real lightweight waterproof but it does the job well. Saw the SBD 30% off and have succombed to festive firs. I may have to stop following this thread, I do not need any more kit! |

Great to hear Rosehip & L50 was particularly wet this year. I have felt wretched since I got back from my run I must watch the video to see how to roll it down to bumbag style.
