westmoors Mar 2021 9:39am, 22 Mar 2021 4,957 posts	0 westmoors For carrying phone/keys etc if not got large enough pocket I use a Buddy Pouch. They come in 4 sizes. I have the two smallest ones and they are really secure, and I've never had any chaffing issues either.

I need a new running pouch and thought about a flip belt but my Karrimor is half the price and I can pop a small bottle of water (a refillable one from an old belt) as well as my phone, keys, hand sanitiser, tissues in there too. It doesn't look very smart and it has a tendency to migrate from front to back, so if there are any other recommendations they'd be wekcome!

I couldn't get on with a flip belt (gave that to a fetchie but can't remember who!) so came back to the good old faithful Karrimor. I don't have the problem with it moving around but I do tend to carry more junk than needed on a just in case basis! I'm now in the habit of not using it unless I'm out for more than an hour.

I don't want to spend a fortune! I may try my Osprey cycling bladder thing first this weekend, see if it works. Having been out for about 3 hours on Saturday, 2ish hour walking time, I could have done with a drink and the idea behind the poles was to go further and longer, not faster... So something that carries water, food, first aid kit, emergency bivvy and warm top as well as a couple of litres of water.
