Nope - too many variables like your ability to swim, my ability to swim, stroke you are doing, length of pool, water temp!

Is it me you're calling a troll? Its a serious question! I'm not a swimmer but I swim weekly (for the fitness benefits) and would like to improve my swimming. So what I want to now is if I'm not swimming to be competitive just to improve, is the difference worth me changing my shorts.

If your only swimming once a week as a bit of x-training - stick to the baggy shorts then.

Oh, Greg, I'm sorry, I missed your reply. It got caught up with the TI debate. Sorry. Thanks for the answers. Figure hugging swim garments purchase at lunchtime, methinks! Like aba, I'm not swimming for speed (tho thinking about an aqathalon?) but I would still like to improve and get smoother etc. anyway, like all of us on here, I'm a kit junkie!

Anyway - I went for a swim this morning, in my swimming costume made from some kind of lycra. The key is, it's RED. Which is scientifically proven to be the fastest colour.
To prove this I swam 1,000m with a fast 200m at the end, in record time (for me, not Michael Phelps. ) Now I need FOOD.
